Don't buy your POS from a banker.
They're good at their jobs. A point of sale is a different trade, and your business runs on it every single day.
Would you let your POS installer approve your loan? Then don't let your loan officer pick your POS.
Don't buy your POS from the same rep who tells you what cheese to buy.
Your banker knows your balance. Not your bar menu.
While your rep is at the lake on Saturday, you're on hold with an 800 number.
How a bank sells you a point of sale
Your banker is good at banking. Here's how the POS part usually goes, and what it leaves you holding.
Ask your banker before you sign
- Who installs it, and who builds my menu?
- Who do I call at 8pm on a Saturday, and are they local?
- What is my rate, in writing, and is there a contract or an early termination fee?
- Is the equipment mine, financed, or a lease?
How a food distributor sells you a point of sale
Your rep knows your order guide by heart. Here's how the POS part usually goes, and what it leaves you holding.
What the big distributors offer right now
- Sysco: Square, through Sysco's Restaurant Solutions program since December 2024. Sysco's announcement lists a processing fee rebate, hardware discounts, and custom pricing.
- The grocery credit: Square credits up to $1,000 a month on a Sysco invoice for up to 12 months, up to $12,000. It needs at least $250,000 a year in projected card sales (Square decides), a Sysco account buying over 100 cases a month or a new one, a switch to Square, and staying in good standing. Square pays it, and Sysco's terms say that if Square doesn't, your only recourse is Square. Listed to end December 31, 2026.
- US Foods: Lightspeed and SpotOn, through its CHECK Business Tools program since 2024.
None of it is a bad product. Ask who installs it, who builds the menu, and who answers on a Saturday night. Then get the rate in writing and have us put it next to your statement.

- What is my processing rate after the credits end, in writing?
- If I change food suppliers, what happens to my POS deal?
- Is the equipment mine, financed, or a lease?

Buy your POS from people who do POS
Any system we sell, set up the way your business actually runs, by a team you can call by name.
We walk your counter first
Where the stations go, which printers the kitchen needs, and whether the network can carry it, before anything ships.
We build it and train your team
Every item, modifier, tax, and kitchen route, tested at the counter. Your crew learns it on install day, in English or Spanish.
We answer the phone after
On site if you're local to us, remote anywhere else. The same team that installed it, not a hold queue.
Questions about who sells your POS
Not by itself. It's real money. Read who pays it and what it depends on, then compare it with what processing and support cost you over the same 12 months and after. We'll run that math with you for free.
No. Keep both. This is only about who sells, installs, and supports your point of sale.
Yes. We set up, fix, and train on systems we didn't sell, billed by the hour with an estimate up front. Move your processing to us and support is included on any system we sell.
