We meet or beat your current rate. In writing.
One statement is all it takes. We show you what the same month costs on each of our three programs, next to what you pay now. If staying put is cheaper, we say so.
Who pays for card acceptance? You decide.
Same merchant account, same equipment, same team on every program. The only thing that changes is where the card fee lands, and we can move you between them as your business changes.
Evident Zero
A cash price and a card price, both posted before the sale. The difference covers the processing, so you keep the whole sale.
- You pay
- $0 in processing, plus one flat monthly plan fee set by your volume
- Your customer sees
- Two prices, cash and card, on the sign and the receipt
- Fits
- Quick service, convenience, small tickets, anyone tired of the fee line
Set up as compliant dual pricing with the signage and receipt language in place, not a surcharge.
Is this me? Get my number →Evident Split
Credit card customers cover their own fee. Debit with a PIN carries no customer fee, and you pay a low debit rate instead.
- You pay
- 0% on credit, a small rate on PIN debit, one flat monthly fee
- Your customer sees
- A fee on credit only. Debit with a PIN has none
- Fits
- Restaurants and retail with a lot of debit traffic
A debit card run as credit is treated as credit.
Is this me? Get my number →Evident Wholesale
You pay the card networks' wholesale rate, called interchange, plus a margin that is printed on every statement and never moves.
- You pay
- Interchange at cost, our fixed margin, one flat monthly fee
- Your customer sees
- One price. Nothing changes at the counter
- Fits
- High volume, B2B, big tickets
Interchange is set by the card networks and varies by card type, which is why this one is quoted from your statement.
Quote it from my statement →Not sure which one? Send a statement and we pick it with you. Some businesses do best with one program at the counter and another for invoices, and that's fine too.
What's never on your bill
What changes when you switch
| A typical processor | Evident | |
|---|---|---|
| When something breaks | An 800 number and a ticket | A person on our team who knows your account, in English or Spanish |
| Pricing | One program, take it or leave it | Three, and we move you between them as your business changes |
| Point of sale | The one system they resell | TableTurn, Aldelo, Clover, Square, Exatouch, plus PAX and Valor terminals |
| Setup | A box in the mail | Install and training, on site if you're local, remote if you're not |
| Your rate over time | Creeps up until you notice | Meet or beat, in writing, and a free rate review whenever you ask |
| Contract | Three years with an early termination fee | Month to month, no early termination fee |
Keep the terminal you already have
Running a PAX, Dejavoo, or Valor terminal? It can usually be reprogrammed to our processing without buying anything. Clover and Square hardware stays tied to the processor it came from, so if you're on one of those we'll show you what a switch costs, including the free device offer, before you decide.

Questions people ask before they sign
Because the right number depends on your card mix, your average ticket, and how your customers pay, and a rate on a web page is a rate any competitor's rep can undercut by a hair without ever seeing your statement. So we put the number in writing for your business instead, and we meet or beat what you have now. If we can't, we tell you to stay put.
Interchange is the wholesale rate the card networks and banks charge on every transaction. It varies by card type: a rewards card costs more than a basic debit card. Evident Wholesale means you pay that wholesale cost plus our fixed margin, and the margin is printed on every statement. It's the most transparent way to price processing, and it's usually the right fit for high volume, B2B, and big tickets.
Yes, when it's done right. California allows a cash price and a card price as long as both are displayed before the sale, and the card networks don't allow surcharges on debit. We set it up as compliant dual pricing with the signage and receipt disclosures in place, not as a surcharge. Our SB 1524 article covers the rules.
Your monthly plan fee doesn't go up as you process more. On Evident Zero the plan is set by your monthly volume, so a growing business moves up a tier when its volume does, and that's the only change.
Plans are month to month. Cancel anytime with no early termination fee.
Free equipment is available on qualifying plans. If you want a device that doesn't qualify, or more units than the plan includes, we'll quote it before you commit to anything.
Yes. If your mix of cards or ticket size changes, we can move you between Zero, Split, and Wholesale.
Square applications approve instantly. Clover boarding is near-instant once signed. Most other applications are reviewed the same day.
Your number, in writing, from one statement.
We'll show you what you'd pay on each program, side by side with what you pay now.
