Three ways to take orders online. Only one has no commission.
Delivery marketplaces take a cut of every order. Subscription ordering platforms charge a monthly fee, and many add a per-order fee on top. EBS Online Orders comes with every website we build, with 0% commission and no fee added to your guest's order. Here is what each one costs on the same month of orders.
- ✓0% commission and no monthly ordering fee with an EBS website
- ✓Your brand, your prices, your customer list. Every order's name, phone, and email is yours
- ✓Delivery without the 30%: your own drivers, or the same app drivers for a flat fee
- ✓Already on a POS from us? Every system we sell includes online ordering at no additional cost
What a year of orders costs
Start with your online order sales in a month.
Estimate only, before card processing, which applies to every option. Marketplace commissions run about 15% to 30% on delivery orders depending on the plan. The platform defaults are a $249 plan with a 5% per-order fee; plans run $249 to $499 a month. An EBS website is a one-time build from $1,295, or ordering comes included with any POS we sell.

Card processing applies to every option. On an EBS cash discount program, the posted card price covers it. Marketplaces are still worth keeping for discovery: most restaurants keep them and move their regulars to direct ordering, where the margin is.
Where each one fits
Marketplaces find new customers
People browse the apps and find you there. That reach is real, and it is what the commission pays for. Use it for first orders, not for your regulars.
Platforms are a monthly bill
A subscription platform stops the commission, then adds a monthly fee and often a per-order or guest fee. If you already have a website you love, it can still fit.
Direct ordering keeps the margin
Your regulars order from your site at your prices, you keep the whole ticket and the customer list, and the bag stuffer in every app order brings the next one direct.
Questions about online ordering costs
Yes. You pay for the website plan and your normal card processing. There is no per-order commission and no fee added to your guest's order.
A one-time build from $1,295, then hosting and the domain for $99 a year, or maintenance for $25 a month. Online ordering is included in every plan. See the website plans.
Maybe not. Every POS we sell includes online ordering at no additional cost. EBS Online Orders is for owners who want a different ordering experience, or who run a system without ordering. It works alongside any POS.
Run your own drivers with delivery zones and live tracking, or send direct orders to the same app drivers for a flat fee per delivery instead of a commission. How direct delivery works.
