- ✓Monthly, yearly, and three-year so you see what it adds up to
- ✓Nothing stored, nothing sent unless you ask for the breakdown
Same sales. Different bill.
Two of our three programs can be priced from these three numbers. Evident Wholesale depends on your card mix, so we leave that one for the statement review.
Your current processor
Every dollar of this comes out of your margin.
0% processing to you
Customers see a cash price and a card price, both posted before the sale. The difference covers the processing. We set up the compliant signage and receipts.
0% on credit, low rate on debit
Credit card customers cover their own fee at the counter. Customers who enter a PIN pay nothing and you pay the debit rate plus a flat monthly fee. A debit card run as credit counts as credit.
Interchange at cost, plus one fixed margin
You pay the card networks' wholesale cost plus our fixed margin. On your numbers our margin plus the monthly fee would be about $167 a month. What sits underneath it is interchange, which depends on the cards your customers hand you, and that is exactly what we pull from your statement in a rate review.
Keep $6,492 a year. Get it in writing.
We email you these numbers as a one-page breakdown, program by program, with the assumptions spelled out. No statement needed for this step. If you'd rather we confirm it against the real thing first, send the statement.
Estimates based only on the numbers you entered and our standard program pricing. The PIN debit share and average sale change the Split figure, so adjust them to match your statement. Zero and Split are set up as compliant dual pricing, not a surcharge. Your exact figure is confirmed in a written proposal after we review a statement.
No assumptions we didn't show you
Effective rate
Total fees divided by card sales. That's the real cost of accepting cards, whatever the headline rate says.
Evident Zero
You pay 0% on card sales and one flat monthly plan fee. The plan is set by your monthly volume and never moves with the number of transactions.
Evident Split
Credit sales cost you 0%. PIN debit sales cost a low rate plus a few cents per transaction, using your PIN debit share and average sale, plus a flat monthly fee. Debit run as credit is treated as credit.
Before you believe a calculator
It's what our programs cost on the numbers you typed. The only thing a statement review adds is precision: your true debit share, your card mix for Evident Wholesale, and any fees your current processor is charging that you didn't include. If your processor is charging fees you didn't include, the review number gets better, not worse.
Because the right number depends on your card mix, your average ticket, and how your customers pay, and a rate on a web page is a rate any competitor's rep can undercut by a hair without ever seeing your statement. This page prices your month on our programs and the written breakdown puts it in writing for your business. We meet or beat what you have now, and if we can't, we tell you to stay put.
Some ask once. You see two prices at gas stations, restaurants, and shops across California now, and the program is set up so both prices are displayed and the receipt is correct. Our SB 1524 article covers the rules.
Because we'd have to guess your interchange, and we don't guess. Interchange is the wholesale cost set by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex and it varies by card type, so a rewards card costs more than a basic debit card. Our margin on top of it is fixed and shown above in dollars. Send a statement and we'll compute the whole thing.
Month to month, no early termination fee, and the quote is the quote. If your business is a better fit for Evident Wholesale than a 0% program, we'll tell you that in the review, because a merchant who leaves in six months costs us more than one who stays.
