To automatically print customer receipts and kitchen chits, you'll need to connect a receipt printer and/or kitchen printer to your order-taking device. You can find a list of compatible printers on our hardware page. Additionally, you can modify receipt and chit templates on the restaurant portal under Other Settings > Printing.

How does it work? Restaurants can choose to pause specific services or pause all services at once by selecting "Opening hours." This feature can be used for a short period or until the end of the day.

Additionally, restaurants can add a custom message in the "Notification message" field to explain why they're pausing services. This message will be displayed in the ordering widget, ensuring customers are informed.

Example: If a restaurant decides to pause its delivery service for the rest of the day, a custom message can be enabled to inform customers.

To resume operations, simply click the Unpause button in the app, regardless of whether you initially used this feature in the app or in the Admin panel.

To mark items out of stock using the order-taking app, restaurants can follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the "Availability" section within the app.

2. Tap on the menu item that needs to be marked as out of stock.

3. Select one of the following options: Until tomorrow, Until a preferred date, or Undetermined.

To mark an item as available again, simply tap on the item and select the "Available" option.

It's important to note that items marked as out of stock, whether done in the order-taking app or within the Admin, will display the 'Out of Stock' label. Any changes made to the stock status are immediately reflected in the Admin and vice versa.

Customers will see items marked as out of stock with the 'Sold out' label in the ordering widget.
